ALL,

Using Gentoo Linux.

I was using the basic dhcpcd and everything was good.

Recently I had to update my machine and noticed that GNOME pulled in Network Manager. So I tried to switch to using it.

I uninstalled dhcpcd and removed it from starting at boot and started the NM.

After reboot I lost the Internet connection, because during the reboot my WiFi interface was not loaded (my wlan0 interface failed).

Does anybody knows what should I do and how to fix it?

Laptop doesn't have a wired interface and have the touch screen. Hence the update because it needed to switch to using X and not Wayland.

Thank you.
